With how often I’m singing around my kiddos it’s no wonder that Emmie and Landon have both picked up the singing bug. We usually listen to the radio and unless a song has excessive swearing, which isn’t the case with the radio, we let the monsters listen to it. Landon the other day was singing to Britany Spears with no shame. Ha! He also enjoyed Moves Like Jagger. It’s one of his favorite songs.

Emmie has picked up some to and I’m sure it’s due to her big brother. She wants to be just like him. He didn’t didn’t really start singing along to songs until he was about 3. Emmie started not long after her second birthday. She picks it all up so fast to!

Landon also have a love of singing. Emmie is usually a dance and sing girl but Landon just likes to sing along. That is unless it’s to Move’s like Jagger. The kid is crazy. Sorry the below video is side ways. I got to impatient trying to convert and fix it. Even though it’s in the car he still makes sure to bounce his leg up and down to the beat!

I have realized lately that I don’t blog about Landon as often as Emmie. So I have a couple of cute little stories all about him.

Last night I was in the bathroom brushing my teeth and Landon was waiting for me to get done. Chris was out on the couch and Landon went to sit with him. He wanted a book read before he came and laid down in the bed with me. He has recently been on a “let’s go night night in the room” kick. Anyway… He grabbed a book for Chris to read. The book, as pictured below, is not a children’s book.

Chris decided he would make up a cute little story for Landon. Here is the conversation that took place.

Chris–”Once upon a time, there was a little boy named Landon.”
Landon–”DADDY!”
Chris–”What?!”
Landon–”I’m not in the story!! I’m in my HOME!(As he points to himself)”

He is freaking adorable. Wednesday I was at my mom’s house which is over an hour away. I needed to strip out diapers and it was far cheaper to pay gas than to go to the laundry mat.

Chris had kept both the kids since my mom’s house isn’t child proofed. He called me about Landon’s cuteness in the middle of the day. Landon is a T.V child. We have started weaning so we aren’t watching as much but yea. He knows like every single Nick Jr. character. We also have netflix instant on our blu ray player so if something isn’t on that we want to watch or if the satellite cable goes out we can watch whatever.

Landon–”I want to watch DORA!”
Chris–”Well buddy, Dora isn’t on right now. Sorry.”
Landon–”It’s on NETFLIX!”

He has a tenancy to yell one word in a sentence since he likes to emphasize what he is saying!.  I love my little man. He is so precious and defiantly my little snuggle bug. I can’t wait for Emmie to get to this age because she is already a spitfire. I can only imagine what things she will make up!

Awhile ago I said we were finally in cloth diapers full time. Well not long after that post we had to stop because the diapers we had were leave horrendous marks on Emmie’s legs and they seemed to be hurting her. We stopped with Landon too because I wanted to sell the diapers and buy new ones! Obviously we had to go back to sposies diapers and they have worked fine, they just leaked occasionally because Emmie is a water drinking Machine. Plus its hard to remember to change her as often since sposies(disposable diapers) are harder to detect pee until she has much more of it!

Well we are finally back up to a decent amount of diapers. I have been lucky enough to have reviewed three of them so that helped. Also since there really isn’t much I want for Christmas(I want and Ipod touch and my Student Blogher ticket. Grand total= $310) I have been buying diapers. I recently bought one AppleCheeks Little bundles, one AppleCheeks cover and a Blueberry Fuzzibunz to try out with extra inserts. That is my main problem actually. I have a good amount of one size pocket diapers. I just don’t have any inserts for them. The FuzziBunz were 3/$12 so I couldn’t resist. I mean the more diapers I have, The less I will have to wash, and hopefully I will get more use from them.

I can’t wait for Emmie Em’s to be a full time cloth butt! Landon, we are trying to potty learn but its proven a little tricky as he only tells us AFTER he goes. Or if I mention the potty, he says he needs to go and then doesn’t. We will get there though, for both of them. I just can’t wait until it happens!
