Halloween is one of my favorite times of the year. It’s closely tied with Christmas and my birthday. I find it a little ironic that I love Halloween so much considering I am not into horror at all. I mean if I watch any type of Zombie movie before bed, I’m sure to have terrible apocalyptic dreams.

I think the reason I adore Halloween so much is the dressing up. On Halloween I always felt normal dressing up “different”. Being that I love it so much it is no surprise that the kids can’t wait for it either. Last night we finally when and got them their costumes. Landon chose to be Chuck the Truck and Emmie said she wanted to be Simba.(The monsters also have a new found love for The Lion King)

Next year I hope to make their costumes. What is the point of knowing how to sew if you aren’t going to use the skill right?! I don’t know what yet but I will probably have to start in July to even get it done on time.
