This is published post 300! I can’t believe I’ve published that many. I honestly never thought I would get here. With that being the case, I thought I would post somethings that I found on pinterest and were hilarious to me!
When we went to the mall last time saw that they were in the processes of opening a bounce house place for kids. Well on Friday the kiddos asked if we could do something. We’ve been trying to go out and do more with them than just sitting at home on Chris’s off days. They have a lot of fun when we go out. I mean who can blame them. Like me they are stuck in the house all day.
I happened to look online because I wanted to see if they were open. If they weren’t we probably would have just gone to the mall again and done the carousel/ train ride. It’s something we love to do as a family. Well I was in luck because they were open! It was supposed to be Chris’s day to sleep in but I bounce on the bed until he woke up and looked. We decided to take the stinkers and surprise them. We got to the mall and ate lunch. After we were finished, we told them that that had been their surprise. Landon told Chris “That’s not a surprise!” over and over. I was trying not to laugh.
The look on his face was awesome! He was so excited. Emmie kept telling me it was loud. I wish she was a little older so maybe I could put some ear plugs in for her but I think she would flip about those more. Emmie had a hard time with it at first. She didn’t want to get on anything. Luckily Chris was able to go on the jump houses with them and help them out. I think he liked that since he was able to just lay in there because after a while they were doing everything themselves.
Emmie at one point was nuts and trying to go up the slide and not at all succeeding. It was so cute. The workers were watching and laughing at how adorable she was. Hence the reason she looked back in the video. She’s a little diva and loves and audience.
Emmie keeps asking if we can go back so we’ll have to soon. I can’t wait. It wore the monsters out and they had a blast!

What I say:
The kids love this toy. It’s actually one of the only toys, besides trains, that Emmie plays with on a consistent basis. She really likes all the animal noises that come out. Both kids will sit there and press the buttons on the side. When it makes an animal noise, I have them identify it. Emmie isn’t the greatest at it yet, but even so she tries and mimics them!
Another thing the she seems to really like is turning the big chicken head back and forth. When she does she puts in a ball and sees what side it come out of. I think that is an awesome feature because she is learning cause and effect. The Barn doors are cute. I really like that they make an open and closed sound and that the kids can start getting opposites. My only complaint, and this may just be because my kids are monsters that break everything, is that that doors seem to come off easily. But they are also on the higher end of the toy age. I know a most kids up to 18 months probably would not have that issue.
All in all the Cluck and Learn Barn is super fun for the kids to play with. The kids love the noises and love that the balls come out when they put it in. The animal sounds are good for fun and good to sneak learning in with. This is defiantly a long term toy. Especially if you get it when they start sitting up. It’s fun and reasonably priced. You can find this toy at Toys R Us for only $24.99! Also be sure to “Like” Bright Starts Facebook page since they often do giveaways on there! Now for the giveaway! I’m Linking up with Baby Dickey For Pick Me Up Monday!
On St.Patrick’s day we went to my BIL’s birthday party. My BIL was turning 9! Well its was one of those bounce house type places. If you know my son, Landon, then you know he gets scared of things and is a little anti social at first in new situations. Well he eventually ended up having a blast!! He loved the place. They actually have a 6 and under bounce a couple days a week so I am excited to take him back!
Don't mind my stellar photog skills
It was extremely hard to get him to go in but once he did he had a blast!!
